I was attracted by the firm’s reputation for fostering a collaborative environment, its status as a prestigious international law firm and its commitment to providing opportunities for career development. My roles in the Employment and Litigation teams have allowed me to experience the excellent teamwork and supportive culture that DLA Piper is known for. 

What have you learned from your experiences at DLA Piper?

At DLA Piper, I've learned the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving success Working on transactions globally and undertaking secondment has developed my global mindset, enabling me to share unique insights, make valuable connections, embrace different cultures, and learn about new professional opportunities. 

My experiences at DLA Piper have taught me that success in the legal profession requires not only individual competence but also the ability to work as part of a supportive and dynamic team that recognises each team member's contribution.

Is there anything you would like to highlight about your experiences at DLA Piper?

One of the best experiences I've had at DLA Piper was the opportunity to participate in the Flash Secondment Programme in Madrid, Spain. This was not only a testament to the firm’s commitment to fostering professional growth but also a unique chance to engage with the vibrant Madrid team. 

It allowed me to collaborate and exchange insights with the Madrid team and other secondees from various international offices, which broadened my perspectives on international legal practices. The warm welcome from my colleagues and the sense of camaraderie among the team made the experience truly memorable!

What sustainability-related work have you been involved in?

I've played a key role in adopting Thailand’s courts’ new electronic submission system, which aims to significantly decrease paperwork for the Thai legal sector. Our Bangkok team has embraced the e-filing method, favoring it over the traditional paper document submission whenever feasible. This approach is in line with the firm's sustainability commitments.

What has surprised you most about DLA Piper?

The exceptional level of teamwork and the firm’s commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. The collaborative spirit at DLA Piper is not just a statement; it’s a practice that’s evident in every aspect of the firm’s operations, policies and processes. DLA Piper’s ethos of being bold and exceptional resonates throughout the firm, encouraging employees to push boundaries and deliver outstanding results.
