Why did you choose to work at DLA Piper?

Three years ago, I decided to join DLA Piper as a trainee lawyer because I wanted to work in an international and dynamic environment that would allow me to follow my ambitions.

At DLA Piper, I have had the chance to work with great professionals and extraordinary people. I have discovered how the firm cares about its people, values diversity and acts thoughtfully, supporting its people in their professional growth to achieve their full potential.

What is your current role?

I’m a trainee and I deal with intellectual property and tech law – especially from a commercial and privacy perspective – with a focus on the Fashion and Luxury and Food and Beverage sectors. Thanks to DLA Piper, I have increased my knowledge and experience in the privacy field and I am a privacy expert and a legal design enthusiast.

What have you learned from your experiences at DLA Piper?

During my time at DLA Piper, I have learnt a lot both from a professional and personal perspective. In particular, meeting clients who are major players in the market allows junior professionals to understand the business, priorities and needs of our clients.

We learn how to take care of our clients and to deliver the highest standard of legal advice and service excellence, also contributing to responsible business, pro bono and charity initiatives.

DLA Piper gives you the chance to collaborate with colleagues and clients from all over the world, working together, being bold and creating trusting relationships that are at the heart of our work in the firm.

In other words, at DLA Piper we live by our values: be supportive, be collaborative, be bold and be exceptional.
