Why did you join DLA Piper?

I first noticed DLA Piper at a careers fair when I was at university. A year later, I started an internship with the firm. I was amazed by the atmosphere, the colleagues, and the work. Challenges are diverse and intellectually stimulating.

The strong global approach and international nature of the work is very attractive too. After obtaining my LL.M., I decided to apply for a legal traineeship and join DLA Piper full time.

What have you learned from your time at DLA Piper so far?

I don’t think you are ever sure whether you will like something or not until you actually do it. The internship at DLA Piper made me even more convinced and excited to become a lawyer. The work is challenging and diverse, and that’s exactly what attracted me to the career.

Is there anything you would like to highlight about your experiences at DLA Piper?

Being ambitious and driven does not have to exclude being collaborative and encouraging. DLA Piper has created an environment where excellence can thrive alongside a supportive and team-based culture. This should attract ambitious graduates aspiring to work in a positive and progressive working culture.
